Oh, hello!

I’m so happy to see you!

My name is Louise, and there is nothing that I would rather do, than be with you on your big day, a part of your big project, or maybe to hold your hand when we together take a new step into the unknown.

I am a photographer, a videographer, a writer – and a dreamer. You, are getting married, presenting your company or maybe finally editing that first draft of the novel you have been working on for years. Together we can make it something memorable, we can make it a success.

I believe that we can create something beautiful together. What do you think?

Louise Konstantia

Photography

The day I received my first wages in my hand I headed straight to buy a camera.

I was 16 and photography was an emotional and creative outlet for me. That camera became my baby, and I held it tight for almost 10 years.

I have upgraded my gear since then, and the girl behind the camera has grown up (a bit). But that feeling of joy and excitement I get when I put my eye to the view finder is still the same, if not a little more exciting these days.

I have had the pleasure of working with couples on their wedding day and with chefs putting the last touch on their creations. And the one thing they have in common is that tingling sensation of creating something new.

That’s the feeling I am trying to chase in my photographs.

Videography

Photos are beautiful, but videos are touching.

Having studied directing at Luc Besson’s school “Ecole de la Cité” in Paris I come from a storytelling part of videography. Blending documentary with cinematic images to create a special world just for you.

I film and edit myself but I like to surround myself with other creatives who will help to bring the project to the best place possible.

Weddings

It would be such an honour to be there on your big day! I embrace all couples and all sorts of ceremonies, so just let me know what you’re looking for and I will help you.

When you feel ready to get in touch you can do so via the contact sheet further down, or by simply sending me an email to louise[at]konstantia.com.

Videography

I love video, it is really where my heart lies and I would love to be a part of your project. I have done weddings, short films and I was once employed by a class of 6-year olds. Your dreams are the limit!

Working with me

“I have never enjoyed being photographed, I always feel uncomfortable and can’t really act naturally, but with Louise as my wedding photographer I didn’t even think about it, I could relax and the photos are fantastic! You can tell that she thinks about the whole picture when you see the final photographs, that the background and the environment are just as important as the people. I would recommend Louise to anyone who wants a really good photographer, but especially to couples who want their big day to be immortalized with photos that live up to the memory of it.”

It can be scary, trying to look pretty when someone is staring at you through a lense. That is why I believe in smiles, laughter and just going with the flow.

It is an honour to work with people on their most special day, or on their dream project. It makes the work charged with an energy that I hope shows through the photos, through the film.

It is very important for me to know that you are having a good experience, because otherwise – what’s the point?

I do not just engage in giving you beautiful photographs as a memory but I give my all to create a playful and relaxed working environment while we are in session.

I believe in communication, in you telling me what you want, and me telling you how we can make that happen. It might sound cliché but it takes two to tango, so I am counting on you, as much as I expect you to count on me.

The EPK of my new album Black to Blue is one of my best promotional tools. It’s been sent out to every artist programmer and music journalist in Europe and Canada.Between YouTube and Vimeo the video has had more than 5000 views in a very short time.
Louise Karlund has worked with an absolute professionalism, targeting the important points to put the album forward. The interviews were all quick and efficiently executed. Her language skills also permit an outstanding professional ease. Discretion, efficiency and reactivity are Louise’s strongest assets. She gives advice while keeping her eyes on the artists or the projects goal and is always diplomatic. She brings rewarding ideas, and she is dynamic in the editing process. She mixes her journalistic, directing and editing skills all at once and she does it all with a smile, which is rather rare these days.
It’s been a true pleasure working with Louise; one of the most efficient collaborations I have experienced this far. We all need a Louise Karlund on our teams.

“I wanted a raw talent, an untried talent, someone outside of the box and so I didn’t hesitate, Louise was all that. The photos are fantastic, flirting with your sense of taste and every photo has Louise’s energy”

Lyndon McLeod, mastermind chef behind “Mat för Många Munnar”
